General Manager: Mark Monroe
Year Founded: 1920
Located in the heart of Seattle's Pike Place Market, Lowell's Restaurant has been serving a family clientele since 1920.
"We had a unique problem with a very popular bar sandwiched in between two non-smoking floors," explained general manager Mark Monroe. "The number of complaints we received told us the tobacco smoke problem was hurting our bottom line."
The installation of four Honeywell F115C models solved the problem. The 95% DOP filters removed the visible smoke while the CPZ sorbent media modules filtered out the tobacco smoke odors and eye burning chemicals.
"We went from constant complaints to zero complaints, from the day the system was installed. We've had a pretty good business here for many years, but since we got rid of the smoke and odor problem we've set revenue records nearly every month." said Monroe.
